COMMUNITY GROUPS

A Community of Faith

The church is so much more than a Sunday get-together and a set of programs. We are a people saved and changed by the love of Jesus, joining Him on His mission in the world together. That means becoming people of prayer, hearing from God through the Bible and His Spirit, and bringing our everyday lives into step with the way God calls us to live – which is where we believe true life and lasting joy are found. And we believe that so much of the growth and transformation that happens through a relationship with God is fostered in meaningful relationships with other people.

WHAT:

Groups meet at the leader or host’s home. There is a time of hanging out and connecting (often over food). Then, as a group, you’ll walk through a short study guide with reflection and discussion questions (based on the message from the previous Sunday) which aim to deepen our understanding of the Bible passage and topic, and work out the practical application and implications for our lives. There will be time to share ideas, struggles, joys and doubts, and to pray for each other.

WHO:

Groups are not just for Christians or “mature Christians” – they are for anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of who God is, to challenge and be challenged to grow, to listen and be heard, to encourage and be encouraged, and to discover how a living relationship with the living God changes everything.

WHEN:

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday evenings.

WHERE:

Cloverdale, Langley, Surrey, South Surrey, White Rock, North Delta.

If you want to grow in your faith, be active in the life of the church beyond just weekly attendance, and connect with real people about real life – join a group!
